A Meet & Greet is an important first step before I confirm and accept any new clients. This can be arranged at a time that suits you, whether during the week, in the evening, or at the weekend.
The complimentary 20–30 minute session allows us to get to know each other before our appointments begin. It will include you, your dog(s), and myself, helping everyone feel comfortable and familiar.
During the meeting, we will also go through the introductory forms and discuss any key information about your dog’s care.

Group walks are limited to a maximum of four dogs at a time. This is in accordance with the PSPO regulations across Northamptonshire, which state that a single person may walk no more than four dogs in a public space unless they are a registered day care or home boarder.
Secure field walks may include up to six dogs at a time, as these take place in a private enclosed space.

While I prefer dogs to be neutered for the wellbeing of all pets in our care, entire males and unneutered females may still attend provided their behaviour remains appropriate.
Aggression or excessive mounting will not be tolerated.
For their own safety and comfort, we kindly ask that females in season remain at home while they are in heat..

Off-lead walking is only permitted with your permission. During the Meet & Greet, you will have the option to sign an off-lead consent form.
However, this does not mean your dog will be walked off lead straight away — or at all. I generally keep dogs on lead until they have built trust with me and I feel confident in their recall.
Your dog’s safety is always my priority, and off-lead walking will only be considered when I am confident that it is safe and appropriate to do so. 🐾

Generally speaking, yes.
However this will be dependent on how extreme the weather is.
Heavy Rain – Visits will still last for the full allocated time however, walks may need to be shortened if necessary to allow time to dry the dogs off and ensure they are comfortable before I leave.
Hot Weather – During periods of hot weather, walks may be scheduled earlier in the day before temperatures rise. If the heat becomes too intense and dogs begin to struggle, walks may be shortened for their safety and wellbeing.
If it is too hot for dogs to walk safely, an alternative service such as a home visit will be offered.
Freezing Conditions, Ice, or Snow – If temperatures are below freezing and paths or roads are icy, walks and visits may be cancelled due to safety concerns. In these circumstances, the service will be charged at a 50% reduced rate.
-
Any cancellations must be made 48 hours before the scheduled service. If cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled service then the full rate will be payable.

Payment Terms
Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment.
Regular Clients: Invoices are issued weekly in arrears each Friday and are payable by Sunday. Failure to make payment by the due date will result in a £5.00 late payment fee, which will be added to the following invoice.
Ad-hoc Clients: Invoices will be issued prior to the scheduled walk or visit and must be paid in full before the service takes place. If payment is not received in advance, the walk or visit will not proceed and the invoice will remain payable.
